My name is Jeanette Wente, and I am excited to accept the role as the Coordinator of Religious Education (K-5) at St. Augustine/St. Joseph Parishes for the 2026-2027 school year. I am a member of the St. Augustine Church and reside in Minster with my husband, Dan, and two children, Reagan and Lincoln.

My background is working as a Speech-Language Pathologist within the educational setting. I have enjoyed working with students of all ages, sharing in their growth, and developing relationships with families. My desire is to use this experience to transition to a new role where I can continue to work with students and share in their faith formation.

My approach to religious education involves active learning, service, and having each student learn to develop his/her own personal relationship with Jesus. I am looking forward to supporting our Catechists, as they lead and guide each class of students. I have valued attending St. Augustine with my own children and want to continue to instill the faith formation of current and future children of our community.

I am continuing to fulfill the duties of my current position and plan to transition to this new role in June. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share in your student’s spiritual growth. It is an honor to accept this position.
