Dear Parishioners,

My name is Julie Homan and I am excited to be taking on the role of Coordinator of Youth Activities 

for St. Augustine & St. Joseph. 

My husband Jack and I have been parishioners of St. Joseph and lived in Egypt for almost 14 years, 

where we have loved raising our six children-J.R., Isabel, Abram, Martha, Blaise, & Magdalene. I 

currently serve as the St. Joseph Parish Administrator, a 6th grade catechist for our parishes, and assist 

in the library at the St. Augustine/St. Joseph Parish Center and will continue to fulfill these roles 

alongside the position of Coordinator of Youth Activities. 

I have a deep desire of bringing others, especially our children, to Christ and to live out my life by St. 

Therese of Lisieux’s motto of “do small things with great love”. I pray and hope to fulfill both through 

this position.

Our faith community has so many wonderful people willing to dedicate themselves to our youth, and I 

can’t wait to support them through this opportunity, so we may all grow closer to Christ.
